Meltem Kandemir is a German-based violist whose artistry bridges deep classical tradition with a fresh, expressive voice. A graduate of prestigious conservatories in Turkey and Germany, she has performed extensively as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player across Europe.

Her musical journey began at the Hacettepe Ankara State Conservatory, where she developed a strong foundation in performance and ensemble playing. She later refined her skills at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold, studying under renowned professors and participating in masterclasses with leading international artists.

Meltem’s performance experience spans major concert halls, chamber music festivals, and interdisciplinary projects. Her repertoire is both rich and diverse, ranging from Baroque to contemporary works, always approached with technical precision and emotional depth.

Beyond the stage, Meltem is a dedicated educator, with over a decade of experience teaching violin, viola, piano, guitar, and music theory. She has inspired students of all ages in Turkey and Germany, integrating her knowledge of performance psychology, Alexander Technique, and meditation into her teaching.
